National Careers Week promotes career guidance across schools and colleges within the UK.
This year’s career events start in College on Monday 6th March through to Friday 10th March. There will be a number of interactive activities which will provide opportunities for students to ask employees questions about their job roles within their organisations, culminating on Friday 10th March with one of our favourite organisations ‘Wheels for All’.
The Local Police and Fire Service will be taking part, alongside sensory based career activities including what it takes to be a ‘Musician, Nurse, Sign Maker, and lots more…
Local Organisations QVC and the Recycling Centre will also be taking part, providing interactive activities, setting challenges, and taking questions about their job roles.
Careers week is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the range of jobs people do in the local community and aims to support young people with their career pathway from education into Adulthood.
The CAT team hope you all enjoy the fun packed activities and challenges during the week!
